Ishan Kishan has played exceptionally well for Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2026 after taking over as captain from Pat Cummins. It was no surprise that SRH co-owner Kavya Maran admired his consistency and showed her appreciation on Monday during the clash against Rajasthan Royals.
After Abhishek Sharma lost his wicket without scoring, Kishan who batted from the No. 3 position began attacking right away at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium. He produced an outstanding performance during his batting display which included eight fours and six sixes until Sandeep Sharma caught him out during the nervous 90s.
Kavya Maran watched from the stands and applauded the SRH captain warmly for his brilliant effort.
The phrase "giving someone flowers" has a different meaning than its literal definition because it represents the act of showing appreciation and recognizing someone for their accomplishments.
Kavya showed her support for Kishan by standing up to clap for him when he returned to the pavilion after scoring 91 runs from 44 balls.
Ishan Kishan became the third SRH player in IPL history to miss a century when he was dismissed in the 90s after David Warner and Jonny Bairstow.

Under Kavya Maran's ownership SRH scored 216 runs with six wickets lost during their match in Hyderabad on Monday. The team experienced an early loss of Abhishek Sharma but Nitish Kumar Reddy and Salil Arora scored quickly during the death overs. Heinrich Klaasen contributed a solid 40 off 28 balls to help the team recover after the early loss of Abhishek Sharma.
The chase will not create major problems for RR because Yashasvi Jaiswal and Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who are their strong openers, will be followed by their currently performing well batsman Dhruv Jurel. Riyan Parag, who serves as captain of the team, continues to develop his batting skills while he makes excellent choices during gameplay.
