Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) will look to jump to the top of the standings when they take on Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on Wednesday, April 15, in an IPL 2026 game at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru.

RCB have been going great throughout this season. It took them a while to get back from the loss against RR in their 3rd match and they managed a spectacular victory against the Mumbai Indians. They have 3 wins from 4 matches and are well placed at the table.

LSG have been going up and down in this season. They faced a colossal defeat at the hands of Gujarat Titans in their last fixture and have 2 wins and 2 losses from the four matches played so far. A victory in this match could put them equal to RCB in the table.

The M Chinnaswamy Stadium pitch is known for favoring the batsmen and this match is expected to be no different. In the fixture at the same venue before this game, RCB posted a mammoth total of 240 runs, and MI replied with 222, indicating the ease with which the runs can be scored here.

While the RCB batting order has been among runs, their bowling has exhibited its weaker side in some instances. The main area for concern for LSG has been their batting which has not really got going this season.

The weather conditions in Bengaluru for the upcoming match is expected to be clear. It will be a hot day however temperatures are expected to cool down slightly, reaching around 30 degrees centigrade by the time of the evening match. There will be some cloud cover but there are no forecasts of rain, so a full match can be expected.
