Mumbai/ hrs. 15 April 2026: The success story of Taural India, a leading company in the field of aluminum sand casting and Bharat Geetha, known as the ‘Aluminum Man of India’, an entrepreneur who seeks to connect industries with rural India, has been presented through a case study of Harvard Business School in America, one of the world’s prestigious educational institutions. Through this, Taural India has become a company that has secured a place in the list of selected companies that are studied globally.
This case study is based on the journey of a high-precision aluminum casting business built under the leadership of Bharat Geeta, founder and CEO of Taural India. The study has tracked this journey, which started in 2016 through a joint venture with Germany-based company Thoni Alutech. This includes the company’s growth into a global manufacturing platform serving key sectors such as energy, railways, defense and aerospace.
Senior Professor at Harvard Business School V. G. Narayanan has prepared this case study and presented this case study on Tuesday at Hotel Taj Lands End in Mumbai. Bharat Geeta and former Industries Minister Subhash Desai were present on this occasion along with dignitaries from industry, education and policy sectors. Analyzing how first-generation entrepreneurs can build global enterprises without a traditional industrial background or network, Prof. V. G. Narayanan has presented this.

Prof. V. G. Narayanan said, “Taural India’s journey focuses on the factors required to build manufacturing capacity in emerging markets. It is an example of how a competent and globally competitive industry can emerge through the confluence of global collaboration, high technology and local implementation. The journey of ‘Taural India’ will not only be limited to the industry sector, but will inspire the new generation of entrepreneurs. Even if a young entrepreneur becomes a young entrepreneur, it will give satisfaction that the purpose of this case study has been achieved.”
Bharat Geetha said, “It is a very proud moment for us to be selected as a case study at Harvard Business School. Our journey is to prove that Indian manufacturing can overcome limitations and become world-class based on fundamentals. It reinforces our belief that high-quality, precision-based engineering solutions and sustainable manufacturing value can be created for India and the world with the right approach, discipline and partnerships.”
Founded in 2016, Taural India today has evolved into an aluminum casting manufacturer with two manufacturing plants at Chakan (Pune) and Supa (Ahilyanagar). Bharat Geeta mentioned on this occasion that there is an emotional bond with the two things ‘Make in India’ and ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat’ and the aim is to take the industries to the rural areas.
