Indian IT co looks to strengthen its AI-led consulting and application services biz
Wipro, India's fourth largest IT services firm has signed a definitive agreement to acquire select customer contracts of Alpha Net Consulting LLC and its subsidiaries for up to $70.8 million in cash, as the company looks to strengthen its AI-led consulting and application services business.

The acquisition will give Wipro access to a set of key clients, customer contracts and related employees from Alpha Net Group. The deal also includes deferred earnout-linked payments tied to performance conditions and is expected to close by June 30, 2026.

Founded in 2001 and headquartered in Santa Clara, Alpha Net has operations across the US, Singapore, India, the UK and the Netherlands. The customer contracts being acquired generated revenue of $37.3 million in calendar year 2025, up from $34.4 million in CY24 and $27.9 million in CY23.
