The UPSSSC has issued a notification for yet another recruitment drive. According to the notification, recruitment is being conducted for a total of 295 posts—specifically Platoon Commanders and Block Organizers—within the Uttar Pradesh Home Guard Department. **Recruitment Details**

A total of 295 appointments will be made through this recruitment process. Of these, 52 posts are reserved for Platoon Commanders, and 243 posts are reserved for Block Organizers.

**Eligibility and Criteria**

To participate in this recruitment, candidates must possess a valid UPSSSC PET 2025 scorecard.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university (Intermediate/Class 12 pass is acceptable for the category of unpaid departmental employees).

The minimum age limit is 21 years, and the maximum age limit is 40 years. Candidates belonging to reserved categories will be granted age relaxation in the upper age limit.

**Physical Standards**

To participate in this recruitment, male candidates must meet the following physical standards: a minimum height of 167.7 cm, and a chest measurement of 78.8 cm (unexpanded) and 83.8 cm (expanded). For SC/ST candidates, the minimum height is 160 cm, with a chest measurement of 76.5 cm (unexpanded) and 81.5 cm (expanded). Candidates from hilly regions are required to have a minimum height of 162.6 cm, with a chest measurement of 76.5 cm (unexpanded) and 81.5 cm (expanded).

For female candidates, the minimum height requirement is 152 cm; for those belonging to SC/ST categories or hilly regions, the minimum height is set at 147 cm. The minimum weight requirement ranges from 45 to 58 kilograms.

**Selection Process and Salary**

The selection process for this recruitment will begin with a written examination. Following their performance in the written examination, candidates will be required to participate in a Physical Efficiency Test. The physical test will be of a qualifying nature, and passing it is mandatory.

Upon selection for the posts of Block Organizer, candidates will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹29,200 to ₹92,300, in accordance with Pay Level 5. Candidates selected for the posts of Platoon Commander will receive a monthly salary ranging from ₹35,400 to ₹112,400, in accordance with Pay Level 6.
