New Delhi: Quinton de Kock struck a fine century to propel Mumbai Indians to 195 for six against Punjab Kings in an IPL 2026 match on Thursday.


De Kock struck an 112 off 60 balls, with the help of eight bundaries and seven sixes for thid third century in the tournament’s history.


The South African also became the third batter to hit three centuries for three different franchises in the competition.


De Kock put together a 122-run fourth wicket partnership off 68 balls with Naman Dhir (50) and then added another partnership of 41 off 23 balls with skipper Hardik Pandya (14).


It was de Kock’s first match of this edition after sitting out the first four matches, getting a look-in in place of the injured Rohit Sharma.


And the left hander announced his arrival in style, overtaking Chennai Super Kings’ MS Dhoni for most 50-plus scores by a designated wicket-keeper.
