Railway Project In North Maharashtra | In the last few years, there has been a great revolution in the railway transport of the country. With new railway projects coming up in many areas, the journey of passengers is becoming easier and cheaper. Especially the middle class families are seeing great benefits from the railways. Now the new railway project for North Maharashtra has gained momentum. The Pachora-Jamner-Bodwad railway line has reached its final stage. The land acquisition process of this project, which has been pending for many years, is nearing completion, and the actual work is likely to pick up speed soon. According to the information received from the administration, the work of this project may start rapidly in the next few weeks.

Under this project, the old narrow gauge road from Pachora to Jamner will be converted into broad gauge and further extended to Bodwad. About 84 km long, this route will directly connect many parts of North Maharashtra with the main railway network. This will not only make travel easier, but also give a big boost to freight and local development. Railway Project In North Maharashtra

This project has been approved under the Pradhan Mantri Gati Shakti Yojana of the Central Government. A fund of around 955 crores has been sanctioned for this, out of which the work of 568 crores has been given to Ashoka Buildcon. A period of around 30 months has been fixed for the completion of the project. The land acquisition is likely to be completed by the end of April, and the actual work will start from May.

At present Bhusawal-Manmad railway route is very busy. After the construction of the new road, the stress on this main road will be reduced. The availability of alternative routes, especially for freight trains, will speed up transport, reduce costs and increase efficiency.

Maldhakka will be constructed at Pahoor under this project. Therefore, local farmers and traders will benefit greatly. It will be easier to send products like cotton, bananas, grain directly to the big markets. Farmers are likely to get better rates due to this. Railway Project In North Maharashtra

About 261 hectares of land is required for this project. Out of which 161 hectares of land has already been acquired and the remaining land is in the final stage. Efforts are being made by the administration to ensure that the farmers get proper compensation.

After the completion of this project, new industries will be boosted. Local employment will be created and infrastructure will improve. Economic development of Pachora, Jamner and Bodwad areas is likely to be rapid.
