At the time of writing, Gujarat Titans are cruising through in the chase and needed just 11 from 12 with 6 wickets remaining in the tank. The catch of Gill put a lot of pressure back on GT whose skipper was looking so comfortable while he was on his way to victory.

Earlier, KKR posted 180 all out in 20 overs. Cameron Green was also the highest scorer of the inning with 79 from 55 balls, he played a lone hand to lift KKR up from an early slump by putting partnerships with Rovman Powell to take KKR to a good total. From the Gujarat Titans bowling, Kagiso Rabada was the top performer with three wickets while Mohammed Siraj also took 2.

In the second innings, GT had a brilliant start with Gill leading the chase from the front. Sai Sudharsan played a support role with 22 runs and Jos Buttler chipped in with quick 25 runs but KKR always picked up wickets at the right interval to keep the game alive and in contention.

Varun Chakaravarthy and Sunil Narine picked up a wicket each and performed so well with the ball. But the catch taken by Cameron Green put KKR right back into this game after Gill's incredible effort in the middle.
