New Delhi. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has issued important information for passengers traveling on the Blue Line. According to DMRC, due to scheduled maintenance work on the track, metro services will be affected for some time on the morning of Sunday, April 19. This maintenance work will be done between Indraprastha Metro Station and Supreme Court Metro Station. During this period, changes have been made in the operation of trains on the Blue Line (Line 3 and Line 4). According to DMRC, the frequency of some trains may be reduced during this period, while some services will be operated partially. This may especially affect passengers traveling in the morning. Passengers have been advised to check the updated metro information before travelling, and if possible, use alternative routes.
This change will affect passengers traveling on Line 3 and Line 4. According to DMRC, under the revised timings, the departure time of the first train from different stations will be as follows: The first train from Vaishali to Dwarka Sector-21 will depart at 6:05 am. Service from Laxmi Nagar to Dwarka Sector-21 will start at 6:21 am. The first train from Yamuna Bank to Dwarka Sector-21 will run at 5:50 am. It is noteworthy that this change has been made due to track maintenance work between Indraprastha and Supreme Court metro stations.
No change from Dwarka to Noida
DMRC has clarified that there has been no change in the timing of trains going from Dwarka to Noida Electronic City and from Dwarka Sector-21 to Noida and Vaishali. Normal services on Delhi Metro Blue Line will be fully restored after 6:30 am. DMRC has advised passengers traveling on Sunday morning to plan their journey keeping this temporary change in mind and leave home a little earlier. Besides, passengers have also been advised to follow the announcements being made at the stations, so that any kind of inconvenience can be avoided during the journey.
