Punjab Kings scored the highest score of IPL 2026 due to the strong innings of Priyansh Arya and Cooper Connolly. Punjab made a mountain score of 254 runs in 20 overs. In response, Lucknow Super Giants could score 200 runs at the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs. In this way Punjab won the match by 54 runs.
The biggest architects of this special victory of Punjab Kings were young batsmen Priyansh Arya and Cooper Connolly. Both of them turned half the match in their favor while the team was batting. Explosive innings of Priyansh Arya and Cooper Connolly thrashed the bowlers of Lucknow Super Giants and took the team to the score of 254 runs. The 13th over of the innings proved to be the most important and explosive over of this match. Aidan Markram bowled this over for Lucknow Super Giants, but he had to pay a heavy price. Cooper Connolly hit three consecutive sixes on the first three balls of the over, due to which the bowlers came under pressure. After this a wide ball came and then a run was scored.
