Tezzbuzz Desk- The excellent performance of Punjab Kings continues in IPL 2026. The team registered its fifth win of the season by defeating Lucknow Super Giants by 54 runs in the 29th match of the tournament. In this match played at Maharaja Yadvinder Singh International Cricket Stadium, New Chandigarh, Punjab first scored a huge score while batting and then won the match with a strong performance in bowling.
After winning the toss, Punjab batsmen adopted an aggressive stance from the beginning against the Lucknow team, who came to bowl first. Priyansh Arya batted explosively and scored 93 runs in just 37 balls. Rain of fours and sixes was seen in his innings. Cooper Connolly also supported him well and scored 87 runs on 46 balls.
