It is believed that fasting on this day brings happiness, prosperity, and good fortune, while also helping to eliminate sins. A significant celestial event known as *Dhruva Yoga* will take place on this day, starting in the morning and lasting until 9:36 PM. This *Yoga* is linked to Lord Vishnu and is believed to bring stability and positivity into one’s life. Additionally, the *Abhijit Muhurat* (auspicious time) will be from 11:53 AM to 12:45 PM, a period regarded as highly favorable for performing auspicious tasks.



The Importance of Mohini Ekadashi

On this day, devotees offer prayers to Lord Rama and Lord Vishnu in His *Mohini* form. According to the *Padma Purana*, during the *Treta Yuga*, Lord Rama observed this fast upon the advice of the sage Maharishi Vashistha. This fast is believed to alleviate all forms of suffering and purify one from sins. On Mohini Ekadashi, devotees should worship Lord Vishnu with strict adherence to the prescribed rituals to earn His blessings.

What to do on Mohini Ekadashi?
Reciting the *Vishnu Sahasranama* is highly recommended on this day. Chanting the mantra "Om Namo Bhagavate Vasudevaya" is also beneficial. Devotees should rise during the *Brahma Muhurta* (the auspicious pre-dawn period) and take a ritual bath. After bathing, wearing yellow clothes and worshipping Lord Vishnu is advised. Offer yellow flowers, incense, a lamp (*Deep*), and food offerings (*Naivedya*). Conclude the worship with the *Aarti* of Lord Vishnu. Additionally, feeding the less fortunate is considered very significant on this day.
