Capcom's latest IP has landed in the UK following months of anticipation, a string of gameplay trailers and a series of major announcements. The legendary game developer has launched its newest sci-fi action-adventure title, PRAGMATA, across multiple platforms, including PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.

While many gamers may be tempted to snap up the title at full price in their eagerness, it may be worth holding off, as some savvy shoppers could secure a physical copy for less than £26. Argos is currently stocking PRAGMATA on PS5 for £41.99, complete with a physical box and game disc compatible with any disc-drive PS5.

However, a cashback deal could allow some customers to shave more than £16 off the price. TopCashback is offering the title to customers who are new to both TopCashback and Argos for £25.94 after cashback.

Meanwhile, existing Argos customers who sign up to TopCashback as new members will pay only marginally more at £26.64 - still a considerable saving compared to the standard retail price. PRAGMATA will transport players into a gripping sci-fi universe, where they must navigate an abandoned space station while contending with a host of enemies

PRAGMATA features a distinctive dual-combat mechanic, in which protagonist Hugh deploys an array of ballistic weapons to deal damage to his adversaries. Meanwhile, the second lead character, Diana, possesses the ability to hack enemies and expose their vulnerabilities, enabling Hugh to inflict even greater damage, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Players can also call upon a range of abilities to aid them in their mission, including the power to slow down time and deploy jet thrusters for more precise movement, such as evading enemy attacks. Our gaming expert Joshua Boyles awarded PRAGMATA 4.5-stars in his first-look review, hailing it as one of the 'best action games' he's played in years.

He said: "Capcom has leaned on what great video games used to do back in the 360 era, delivering a tight and focused third-person action experience with a serviceable story that doesn't outstay its welcome. Its shooting is satisfying, the hacking adds an exciting way to further engage the brain in what would otherwise be a pretty mindless experience.

"It's quickly shot up there with some of the best action games I've played in recent years."

PRAGMATA is also available from The Game Collection for £44.95. This version likewise includes a physical game disc and box, offering the same complete gameplay experience that a digital pre-order would provide.

Despite being on an alternative platform, this also includes the full base game for players to enjoy. Following PRAGMATA's announcement, Capcom confirmed the game will feature 'a new type of sci-fi action-adventure game mixing puzzle and action elements'.

It adds: "In the game, which takes place on the moon in a near-future world, the spacesuit-clad Hugh and android girl Diana cooperate while fighting their way back to Earth."
