The fallout between Ranveer Singh and Excel Entertainment over Don 3 does not seem to be resolved. Despite recent reports suggesting a settlement, sources indicate that conversations are still ongoing and no agreement has been locked in. The production house, led by Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidhwani, has reportedly not confirmed any deal with the actor so far.

This comes at a time when multiple reports have been circulating about a possible financial resolution. However, people familiar with the situation say those claims do not reflect the current status, and both sides are still in discussion.

Farhan Akhtar Denies 10 Crore Settlement With Ranveer Singh

Reports earlier suggested that Ranveer had agreed to compensate the makers for expenses already incurred during the early stages of Don 3. The figure being discussed was around 10 crore, which was said to cover pre-production work. There were also claims that the actor had offered a stake in his upcoming project, Pralay, as part of the understanding.

However, sources linked to the production have denied these details. They maintain that no such arrangement has been finalised and that the matter is still open. In short, the idea of a 10 crore settlement has not been confirmed by those directly involved.

More Details On Ranveer Singh’s
Pralay

The reports around Pralay have also led to confusion. While the film is expected to be Ranveer’s next major project, there is no confirmation that Excel Entertainment is part of it. Sources connected to the film say the production house is not currently involved.

Pralay is being developed as a zombie-based thriller and is likely to mark Ranveer’s entry into film production through his banner Maa Kasam Films. The project is said to be associated with Applause Entertainment and True Story Films, with Sameer Nair and Hansal Mehta linked to it. An official announcement about the film is still awaited.

What Is The Don 3 Controversy?

The disagreement traces back to Ranveer’s decision to step away from Don 3 earlier this year. The move reportedly followed concerns about the script and delays in the project’s development.

From the producers’ side, there have been claims of financial losses due to pre-production work and scheduling changes. Reports suggest that compensation as high as ₹40 crore was being considered, based on expenses and planning already completed.

Ranveer’s position, however, appears to be different. He is said to have been uncomfortable with the lack of a finalised script and the overall handling of the project. There are also claims that he did not receive any upfront payment and lost time on other films, including Baiju Bawra, which did not move forward.

At present, there is no clear resolution to the situation. Discussions between Ranveer Singh and Excel Entertainment are continuing, and the outcome remains uncertain.
