Controversy going on in the film ‘Don 3’

Ranveer Singh had withdrawn his name from the project, after which tension arose with the production house Excel Entertainment. However, now a positive development has emerged in this dispute. According to sources, Ranveer Singh has agreed to return his signing amount to Excel Entertainment.

Signing amount and share in new film

According to sources, this signing amount is around Rs 10 crore. Apart from this, Ranveer has promised to give the production house a stake in his next film, which is tentatively titled ‘Pralaya’. However, it is not clear what percentage stake the production house will get in this film.

Reason for Ranveer leaving ‘Don 3’

Ranveer Singh had decided to leave ‘Don 3’ due to dissatisfaction with the script. Reports said that he was not happy with the story and his character. After this, there were reports of the makers demanding compensation of Rs 40 crore from him. But now the talks between the two sides are moving in a positive direction.

Farhan Akhtar’s role and Ranveer’s success

Ranveer Singh is trying to resolve this dispute by returning the signing amount and giving him a stake in the new film. So far, there has been no official statement from Ranveer, Farhan Akhtar or Excel Entertainment on this matter. Farhan Akhtar has been the director and producer of the ‘Don’ franchise.

According to reports, Farhan himself can play an important role in ‘Don 3’. Meanwhile, Ranveer Singh is celebrating his recent successes. His films ‘Dhurandhar’ and ‘Dhurandhar 2’ are performing well at the box office. ‘Dhurandhar’, released in December 2025, has earned more than Rs 1300 crore globally.

At the same time, ‘Dhurandhar 2’, released in March 2026, has so far crossed the figure of Rs 1750 crore. Both the films have proved to be blockbusters and have further strengthened Ranveer’s status as a superstar. At present, there is no clear information on the future of ‘Don 3’.
