'AA23' update: Allu Arjun and Lokesh Kanagaraj to begin shooting in May; film to have international appeal
Allu Arjun and Star filmmaker Lokesh Kanagaraj are collaborating for their next project, tentatively named ‘ AA23 ’. As the project has announced to begin shooting this year, the latest updates from the film’s co-writer recently shared that the movie will have a strong international appeal and the shooting is set to begin very soon.
‘AA23’ story to have international feelIn a conversation with Galatta Plus, the film’s co-writer Rathna Kumar shared that the film is set to be a pan-India movie because of the story will have international appeal. He said, “I think it’s a proper pan-Indian film , not because of the stars, the central character, or the setting, but because the story has a very international appeal.”
He also shared his experience interacting with Allu Arjun for the project. “When Allu Arjun sir is doing the film, we can get whatever we need to shape it the way we want. It was very exciting to interact with him,” he added.
Lastly, he shared that the film’s shoot is set to begin in the next month, that is in May. “The work is progressing at a brisk pace. We already spent three weeks in discussions with him, and work will begin in the second week of May," he said.
