Chennai Super Kings (CSK) made a strong comeback in the 33rd match of IPL 2026. In this match he faced Mumbai Indians (MI). The match was played on 23 April at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. Batting first, Chennai gave a big target of 208 runs but Mumbai team could not reach this target. The result was that CSK won the match by a huge margin of 103 runs.

Tilak Verma scored the maximum 37 runs for Mumbai Indians. Apart from him, Suryakumar Yadav added 35 runs. None of the remaining batsmen could go beyond 8 runs. Danish Malewar, Naman Dheer and Sherfane Rutherford were out without opening the account. Talking about Chennai’s bowling, Akil Hussain was completely dominant and he took maximum 4 wickets.
