Sleeping Pills Dog Travel: A video to Indian Railways is going viral on social media these days, in which a passenger was seen traveling in a 2AC coach with a dog. It is being told that the passenger hid his pet dog in the train and gave it sleeping pills to keep it calm.

This is not only against railway rules, but is also considered insensitive towards the animal. As soon as the effect of the medicine wore off, the dog woke up and the people present in the coach came to know about it, after which the matter came to light.

The man was taking the pet dog in the train by giving him sleeping pills.

After the incident, the TTE and police present in the train were called, who after investigation dropped the passenger at the next station. According to the information, dogs are not allowed in 2AC, 3AC and sleeper coaches. If a passenger wants to travel with his pet, he has to book AC First Class or Coupe.

In many cases, it is advisable to book the entire cabin, so that other passengers do not face any problem and the animal can also travel comfortably. For violating the rules, action like fine and removal from the train can be taken.

This case highlights responsibility with pets

Different reactions of people are emerging on social media regarding this incident. Some users say that giving sleeping pills to a dog without doctor’s advice could be dangerous and could even lead to its death. Some people are also believing that the passenger might have had some compulsion.

However, most people are saying that if a person cannot take proper care of the pet and travel according to the rules, then he should not take such a risk. This case once again highlights the need to be responsible and follow the rules when dealing with pets.
