Aldi customers are being urged to keep their eyes peeled for a little-known "secret code" on shelf labels that could help them pocket some serious savings.
The savvy trick, circulating on social media, highlights how certain products may be disappearing from shelves soon - giving Brits the opportunity to grab them before they vanish for good.
The code to look out for is a small 'D' printed in the corner of pricing labels.
This signals that the product is being discontinued, meaning once stocks are exhausted, it won't be replenished, creatorzine reports.
Shoppers who spot the label are advised to stock up while they still have the chance - particularly if the item has already been reduced in price.
The tip was shared by money-saving expert Jordon Cox, widely recognised online as the Coupon Kid.
He revealed that while the label frequently appears on Aldi's Specialbuys and limited-time products, it can also be found on regular everyday items throughout the store.
According to Aldi, prices are routinely reviewed and updated, with fresh deals and limited-time offers hitting shelves each week.
The supermarket states that it strives to remain competitive and pass on savings to customers through regular price adjustments and promotions.
The hack has ignited considerable debate online, with shoppers eager to share their thoughts.
One user said: "I wish I knew that yesterday".
Another user wrote: "Ohhh I wish I knew this before they discontinued the rocky road bites. They were one of their best cakes." One user quipped: "Think the bright red reduced tag is more of a clue".
