Suriya meets Dhee in Sri Lanka; calls ‘ Vari Vari ’ a 'special masterpiece': 'Everybody will love it'
Singer Dhee recently released her independent track 'Vari Vari,' and the song has been receiving a lot of love from listeners. The track, which dropped on April 24, is her second indie release within a month and has already gained good views online. Describing the song, Dhee says: "The song is about loss and finding oneself." 'Vari Vari' is about feeling the absence of something or someone and gradually embarking on that journey of self-discovery."
Suriya meets Dhee in Colombo
The song caught the attention of actor Suriya, who met Dhee in Colombo after a long gap of 24 years since his last visit there. During their meeting, Suriya appreciated the singer and her work warmly. “It’s lovely to spend an evening like this with you. Thank you for coming and showing us the song,” he said. He added, “It is a lovely song… I am always a big fan of her work. I am very glad to hear it." The phrase "made it special" refers to the compliment Dhee received.
Suriya calls 'Vari Vari' special and memorable
Suriya went on to say that 'Vari Vari' is going to be a song that is always going to be loved. He said, “I think everybody will love it,” showing his confidence in the track. In a light moment, the actor even asked Dhee if he could use the song in one of his films, which she happily agreed to. He also spoke of his favorite songs by her, including 'Kattu Payale' from ' Soorarai Pottru ' and 'Ey Sandakaara' from the ' Irudhi Suttru .' He added that he loves her unique voice and clear diction.
Santhosh Narayanan reacts to Suriya's support
Music composer Santhosh Narayanan , who worked with Dhee on 'Vari Vari,' also reacted to Suriya’s appreciation. He thanked the artist for his assistance and stated that he was grateful for the enjoyable memories they had made together concerning the music. With such a beautiful gift from Suriya and constant help from the fanbase, 'Vari Vari' must be going to the limelight and must possess the ability to dance for the following spectators.
