In this article we will know the recipe of Cucumber Tambuli. It is ready in hardly 10 minutes and is also very healthy. Most of the ingredients used in it are rich in nutrients and also give it a tempting taste. Cucumber Tambuli is also a good dish for your gut health.
Cucumber Tambuli is made in South India especially Karnataka. This is a thin curry which is easy to make and rich in nutrients along with taste. It also helps in keeping the stomach cool in summers and in it you will get everything from protein to Vitamin D, B12 and fiber. So let's see the recipe.
You will need 1 cucumber, 2 green chillies, 1 small piece of ginger, 2-3 tablespoons fresh coconut (chopped), handful of fresh coriander, ½ teaspoon cumin, 6-8 black peppers, ½ cup buttermilk or curd, salt as per taste, some water for grinding.
1 tsp oil, ½ tsp mustard seeds, ½ tsp cumin, a pinch of asafoetida, few curry leaves, ½ tsp Kashmiri red chilli powder, 1 dry red chilli.

In this way it hardly takes 10 minutes and Cucumber Tambuli is ready. Serve it with hot rice. Tastes amazing. While the taste of coconut with cucumber gives a more refreshing taste, it is a very comforting dish which is best for summers. With this you do not need any extra chutney or pickle.
