Mohsin Khan 5 Wickets Haul: In IPL 2026, Lucknow Super Giants fast bowler Mohisan Khan changed the course of the match by bowling brilliantly against Kolkata Knight Riders. He broke the back of the opposition team’s batting by taking 5 wickets in his four over spell. With this he also became the first bowler to take five wickets in this season.

Mohisan started by sending Tim Seifert to the pavilion in his very first over. After this he also dismissed KKR captain Ajinkya Rahane and Rovman Powell. On the last two balls of his spell, he completed his five-wicket haul by taking the wickets of Cameron Green and Anukul Roy.

Mohisan Khan gave only 23 runs in his four overs and also bowled one maiden over. This performance has become the best spell by any Indian left-arm fast bowler in IPL history. Earlier this record was in the name of Jaydev Unadkat, who had taken 5 wickets for 25 runs in 2013. After about 13 years, Mohisan created a new history by breaking this record.

Ups and downs in IPL career

Mohisan Khan made his IPL debut for Lucknow Super Giants in 2022 and in the very first season he performed brilliantly, taking 14 wickets in 9 matches. After this, injuries slowed down the pace of his career a bit. In 2023, he could play only 5 matches, whereas in 2024 he could appear in 10 matches. He could not play in the 2025 season due to injury.
