New Delhi . Ruturaj Gaikwad finally came out of his poor form in IPL 2026 and scored his first half-century, but this innings was very slow. He took 49 balls to complete his 50 runs, making him included in the list of players who scored the slowest half-century in IPL.
Ruturaj played very slowly in the beginning and his batting remained a struggle till the 15th over. However, after completing 50 runs, he showed momentum and finally scored 74 runs in 60 balls, which included 6 fours and 4 sixes.
If we talk about IPL history, the slowest half-century was scored by Duminy in 55 balls. After this, Parthiv Patel scored half-centuries in 53 balls, then Duminy in 52 balls, David Warner and Gautam Gambhir scored half-centuries in 50-50 balls. Both Sachin Tendulkar and now Gaikwad have scored half-centuries in 49-49 balls.

But in response, the Gujarat team won the match easily.
