But recently an Indian IT professional working in Belgium Alakh Srivastava The video presents a slightly different perspective from this thinking. He says that the real reason is something else, with which many people seem to agree.

Why do Indians not return to India from abroad?

In the video, Alakh Srivastava explains that people brought up in India are used to the conditions here, so infrastructure or facilities are not the biggest issue for them. They say that the facility of domestic help (bais etc.) in India makes life easier.

But what makes the biggest difference is ‘work-life balance’. According to him, in countries like Belgium, a person’s personal life starts after office, whereas in India, working till late hours is common.

He further explains that it is easier to take holidays abroad and employees are able to live their personal lives in a better way. At the same time, taking a short leave in India sometimes becomes a challenge.
