Tezzbuzz Desk- In a very exciting match of IPL 2026, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) registered a memorable win by defeating Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the Super Over. In this breath-taking match till the last ball, both the teams scored 155-155 runs, after which the match was decided in the Super Over.

Batting first, Lucknow Super Giants scored 155 runs for the loss of 7 wickets on a difficult pitch. Rishabh Pant and Aiden Markram played important innings for the team, but due to wickets falling at regular intervals, the team could not score a big score. In the end, Mohammed Shami tied the match by hitting a six on the last ball.

KKR had a very poor start while chasing the target. Tim Seifert was out without opening the account, while captain Ajinkya Rahane and other batsmen also could not play big innings. The team was in trouble after 7 wickets fell for 93 runs.

Lucknow had a bad start in the Super Over, when Sunil Narine bowled Nicholas Pooran on the very first ball. LSG could score only 1 run. In response, KKR’s Rinku Singh gave the team victory by hitting a four on the very first ball.
