The only positive Delhi Capitals might carry back to the dressing room is T Natarajan's effort to take Jacob Bethell's catch against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in Delhi. RCB were chasing a modest total of 76 runs when they lost Bethell in the 3rd over. The last evening, against Punjab Kings, Delhi Capitals saw two dolly catches from Shreyas Iyer getting dropped by Karun Nair.
It was a high-scoring match. But today, DC could have had no options. Facing Kyle Jamieson, Jacob Bethell attempted a lofted shot toward the boundary. Natarajan, stationed at mid-on, judged the ball perfectly and ran back tracking the ball. He juggled, swung his hands frantically with the ball, and maintained his balance near the ropes, running by it, ensuring his feet did not touch the boundary cushions as he secured the catch.

Despite that, the fielding can be questioned. KL not diving to save a boundary and missing a run-out opportunity later can be questioned when they were defending one of the lowest scores in IPL history.

RCB Crush DC in One-Sided Rout

In reply, Royal Challengers Bengaluru chased down 76 with ease, reaching 77/1 in just 6.3 overs. Jacob Bethell provided a brisk start with 20 off 11, before Virat Kohli (23*) and Devdutt Padikkal (34*) sealed the chase with an unbroken stand. The emphatic win underlined RCB’s dominance with both ball and bat.
