New Delhi: Yashasvi Jaiswal slammed a fiery fifty to help Rajasthan Royals (RR) hand Punjab Kings (PBKS) their first defeat in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026. After Vaibhav Sooryavanshi departed for a 16-ball 43-run knock,  Jaiswal took charge in the innings slamming a fiery fifty.

In his 27-ball 51-run knock, the left-handed batter slammed 7 boundaries and 1 six pushing the Punjab bowlers against the wall. En route his brilliant innings, Jaiswal scripted a big record for the Royals franchise in the IPL history. He joined an elite list of players with most 50-plus scores in IPL for one-time winners Rajasthan.

The half-century in the 40th match of the 19th edition for his 20th fifty for Rajasthan Royals as he joined the elusive list headed by Jos Buttler with 25 fifties. Sanju Samson, now playing for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) is also on the list with 25 half-tons.
