By the month of April, urea production was 16461 MT against the target of 1205 MT, 4218 MT against the target of DAP of 709 MT, 3223 MT against the target of NPK of 82 MT, 14556 MT against the target of SSP of 1545 MT and the target of MOP. There has been availability of 154 MT against 119 MT. Out of which, after distribution, currently 15726 MT urea, DAP 3717 MT, NPK 3147 MT, SSP 14289 MT and MOP 138 MT are jointly available in cooperative and private sector. District Agriculture Officer said that there is sufficient availability of urea and phosphate fertilizers in the district. The district will soon receive 1440 MT (28800 bags) DAP of IFFCO Company in the cooperative area from Ayodhya rack point. There is adequate availability of urea and phosphate fertilizers in the district.
By the District Agriculture Officer and the control room established in the office, information regarding fertilizer distribution was sought over telephone from the fertilizer sellers selling urea in large quantities, but due to lack of satisfactory answers regarding excess fertilizer distribution, today on Tuesday, M/s Kisan Khad Bhandar Tekipur, M/s Deluxe Fertilizer Store Khajuri Bazar, M/s Sanjay Khad Bhandar Kurki Bazar, M/s Agrahari Fertilizer Cooperative Society, Secretary Means Cooperative Society Hyderabad, Secretary Means Cooperative Society, A show cause notice has been issued banning the sale of fertilizers to Tarauli Mubarakpur and Secretary Resource Cooperative Society Jalalpur Parshuram and along with this, 09 fertilizer sales centers were inspected by the District Agriculture Officer on Tuesday. In which show cause notice has been issued banning the sale of fertilizers in 02 total 09 shops due to M/s IFFCO e Bazaar Haraiya, Baskhari selling excess urea in the month of March and April and records being incomplete and M/s Vinod Fertilizers, Nasedi not showing any records.
All retail fertilizer sellers are directed to distribute fertilizer as per the recommendations of the crop sown by the farmer and while distributing fertilizer, it must be mentioned in the distribution register for which crop the fertilizer is being purchased. Otherwise, in case excess fertilizer is sold/fertilizer is sold on unsown crops, the sale of retail fertilizer sellers (private/cooperative) will be banned and action will be taken against them under the relevant provisions of Fertilizer Control Order, 1985 and Essential Commodities Act, 1955.
