A big update has come out regarding Indian cinema superstar Yash’s much-awaited film ‘Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-ups’. The makers of the film have decided to extend its release date. Earlier this film was scheduled to release on June 4, but now it will be released in theaters across the world on a new date.
Geetu Mohandas is directing the film. The film is jointly produced by KVN Productions and Monster Mind Creations. The makers issued an official statement on Wednesday saying that the release of the film has been postponed for the time being and the new release date will be announced soon.
It is being told that this decision has been taken after the excellent international response received by the film. Recently the film was presented at CinemaCon, where it received an overwhelming response from global distributors and people associated with the film industry. A lot of interest has been shown in the foreign market regarding the film. For this reason, the makers are now planning to release the film on a larger scale.
The film’s lead star Yash also expressed his views regarding this decision. He said, “Some films are not made just for entertainment, but they make the actors realize why they love cinema so much. ‘Toxic’ is such a special film for me. I am very happy to see the love and appreciation the film has received at CinemaCon. This film should reach a wider audience across the world.”
Yash said, “The film is completely ready. Currently, our team is busy finalizing global distribution and international partnerships. That is why the decision has been taken to extend the release date of the film.”
Yash also expressed his views on the growing influence of Indian cinema. He said, “Today the Indian film industry is creating its own identity in front of the world, and in such a time, it is the responsibility of every artist and filmmaker to present better quality work. As an actor and producer, I want ‘Toxic’ to reach the world with the impact it deserves.”
Yash also thanked his fans. He said, “Fans have supported us in every change and every decision. Some stories require time and patience to bring them to the world in the right way. This film will prove to be a proud moment for Indian cinema.”
