Fortunately, by following the right storage techniques, you can keep coriander and mint fresh for an extended period. Here are some simple storage tips to ensure your herbs remain fragrant and fresh for weeks.



Methods for Storing Coriander:

Keep in a Glass of Water: Start by selecting high-quality coriander. You can store it in water for four to five days. Simply place the coriander in a glass filled with water.




Airtight Container: For storing coriander, an airtight container works well. First, wash the coriander and remove the roots. Once the water has drained, place a tissue paper at the bottom of the container, add the coriander leaves on top, seal the container, and store it in the refrigerator.




Plastic Bag: Coriander can also be stored in a plastic bag, but certain precautions are necessary. After washing and drying the coriander, wrap it in a tissue paper, then place it in a zip-lock bag. This method can keep it fresh for up to 20 days.



Methods for Storing Mint:

Wrap in Tissue Paper: To store mint for a longer duration, choose high-quality mint leaves. Purchase fresh mint from the market, wash the leaves, and dry them without exposing them to sunlight. Once the leaves are dry, wrap them in a paper towel or tissue paper and store them in the refrigerator.




Using a Plastic Bag: You can also use a plastic bag to store mint leaves. After drying the mint, wrap it in paper and place it in a plastic bag. This will help keep the mint fresh for a longer time.
