Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a yellow alert of storm, rain and hailstorm for Delhi-NCR. By department:

• Strong winds can blow at a speed of 30–40 km/h
• This speed can reach 50 km/h in the afternoon
• Light to moderate rain with thunder may continue

Hail caused damage, glass of vehicles broken

Heavy rain accompanied by heavy hailstorm occurred in Sahibabad area of ​​Ghaziabad. People walking on the roads were seen running towards safe places to escape the suddenly falling large hailstones.

According to local people:

• The speed of hail was so high that there were holes in the PVC sheets.
• There have been reports of glass breaking of many vehicles.

Drop in temperature, relief from heat
