Till now train number 01139/01140 Nagpur-Madgaon special train was running with ‘special charges’ but now it will run as regular train number 11203/11204.

At present ‘Ajni-Margaon Express’ takes about 24 hours to complete the journey from Nagpur to Goa. Therefore, there was a constant demand to start more convenient and regular services on this route. As Goa is a major tourist destination in the country, direct rail connectivity between Vidarbha and Goa is of great importance. To know about the schedule of this train, train number 11203 ‘Nagpur-Madgaon Express’ will leave Nagpur every Wednesday and Saturday at 15:05 PM and reach Madgaon at 17:45 PM on Thursday and Sunday. The ‘Rail Yatri Sangh’ (RYS) has also welcomed this decision and has been continuously demanding regularization of this service. Secretary of the organization Brij Bhushan Shukla said that this decision is very positive for the passengers and this train is getting good response. But this time he has also demanded some reforms. In particular, since the travel time is around 24 hours, he has expressed the need to increase the speed of the train to reduce it.
