Supriya Karnik , who has worked extensively across Hindi, Marathi, and South cinema as well as television, has opened up about her decision to remain unmarried. At 51, the actress says there isn’t a single, definitive reason behind it.



‘There is no right or wrong person’Speaking to Siddharth Kannan, Supriya said, “There is no fixed answer. I don’t look for a ‘right’ or ‘wrong’ person because such definitions don’t really exist.”



She added that life doesn’t always go as planned. “Either you don’t get married, or you don’t want to. Sometimes you want to, but it doesn’t happen. It’s not a big deal,” she shared.



Reflecting on her younger years, the actor revealed, “When I was 25–26, I wanted to get married. But today, I don’t think that way. And it’s not like I’m depressed because I don’t have a boyfriend or didn’t find someone. If I didn’t find someone, I didn’t—that’s it.”
