On the occasion of International Labor Day, a one-day camp cum workshop was organized as per departmental instructions at United Shram Bhawan, Supaul on Friday. Labor Superintendent Sushil Kumar Yadav presided over the program.
Workers from various panchayats of 11 blocks of the district participated in the program. During this, the Labor Superintendent gave detailed information about the registration and various schemes operated under the Bihar Centenary Unorganized Worker and Craftsman Social (Revised) Scheme, 2024, Bihar State Migrant Laborer Accident Scheme, 2008 and Bihar Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
He appealed to the workers to register and be aware to avail the benefits of government schemes.
Aditya Kumar Chaudhary (Labor Enforcement Officer, Supaul Sadar), Mihir Kumar (Pipra), Amit Kumar Keshari (Basantpur), Subesh Kumar Paswan (Raghopur), Nitin Kumar (Pratapganj) and Vikas Kumar (Kishanpur) and other officials were present in the program.
Through the camp, an effort was made to make the workers aware by giving them information about their rights and government schemes.
