MP Saksharta Promotion Scheme: Madhya Pradesh government is continuously emphasizing on empowering the daughters of the state. It is often seen that girls from rural areas leave their studies midway due to financial constraints and other problems, due to which their future is affected and they are limited to household chores only. Especially girls from tribal community. Keeping this in mind, Mohan government has recently come up with ‘Tribal Girls Literacy Promotion Scheme’ to encourage tribal girls. Under this scheme, financial assistance will be provided by the government to those tribal girls who had left their studies due to financial difficulties. Let us know about this scheme.

What is this scheme and how much financial help will be provided?

The main objective of this scheme is to motivate tribal girl students to continue their studies in class 11th. Under this, any student who takes regular admission in class 11th after passing 10th, is given financial assistance of Rs 3,000 every year from the government. The special thing about this scheme is that the assistance amount is deposited directly into the bank account of the student, so that she can bear the expenses of her books and studies without any hassle.

Who will get the benefit of this scheme?

• It is mandatory for the student to be a native of Madhya Pradesh.


• He should be from Scheduled Tribe (ST) category.


• She must have passed 10th class examination and is currently studying in 11th class.


• The student should be admitted in the school as a regular student.

How to apply sitting at home?

• There is no need to go anywhere for application, girl students can themselves go to MP Shiksha Portal and fill the online form.


• First of all, enter your mobile number on the portal and complete your eKYC process through OTP.


• After this, fill your Samagra ID and Aadhaar card number carefully.


• Scan and upload your passport size photo and school documents.


• Check all the information filled in the form once again and then click on the Submit button.
