Business Desk – Jindal Steel Net Worth: Jindal Steel, a well-known company in the metal sector, registered an increase in its profit and revenue in the fourth quarter of FY 2026. Jindal Steel was profitable in the quarter ending March. It recorded a consolidated net profit of Rs 1,045 crore. This is a big comeback compared to the net loss of Rs 339 crore recorded in the same period last year.



In Q4FY26, the company’s operational revenue grew by 23% to Rs 16,218 crore from Rs 13,183 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year. Shares of Jindal Steel Limited closed at the level of Rs 1,300. The market capitalization of the company is Rs 1.25 lakh crore.


449% increase on quarterly basis


Jindal Steel’s profits and revenue witnessed manifold increase on quarter-on-quarter basis. An increase of 449% compared to Rs 190 crore recorded in the third quarter of FY 26.


Meanwhile, in the October-December quarter of FY26, the company’s total revenue grew by 24% to Rs 13,027 crore. The company’s board has recommended a final dividend of Rs 2 per share for the financial year 2025-26, subject to the approval of shareholders in the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM).


The company recorded its highest ever production


In a filing to the stock exchanges, Jindal Steel said it has recorded its highest ever production and sales volumes. After the commissioning of BOF3, a steel production capacity of 15.6 million tonnes has been achieved.


Production increased by 14% year-on-year, reaching 9.25 million tonnes, while sales increased by 9% year-on-year, reaching 8.68 million tonnes. Consolidated gross revenue stood at Rs 62,412 crore, which shows a growth of 8% on year-on-year basis.


The share of exports in FY 26 was 7%, whereas in FY 25 it was 6%. EBITDA for the full year stood at Rs 9,099 crore, which is 3% less than last year. Adjusted EBITDA per tonne was Rs 10,482. The company recorded a profit of Rs 3,361 crore this year.


During the quarter, Jindal Steel’s production and sales stood at 2.65 million tonnes (up 6% quarter-on-quarter) and 2.62 million tonnes (up 15% quarter-on-quarter) respectively.
