Kimi Antonelli secured pole position in the Miami Grand Prix after finishing first in qualifying on Saturday. The Formula 1 season resumes in Florida this weekend after a lengthy hiatus, where Antonelli will be hoping to get another win under his belt.
Antonelli won the Japanese Grand Prix in Suzuka at the end of March, in what was the 19-year-old's second victory of the season in just the third race of the year.
The teenager will be in P1 for Sunday's race, finishing ahead of Max Verstappen in qualifying, with the four-time world champion one position further back on the grid in P2.
Charles Leclerc will be in P3 for the race on Sunday, while Lando Norris is fourth on the grid and George Russell is in fifth.
Antonelli starts on pole for the third consecutive race, and reflected on finishing first in qualifying, where the Mercedes driver outlined his hopes for Sunday's race.
"It's been an amazing day to be on pole again," Antonelli told Sky Sports. "It was a difficult start with the Sprint when it didn't go our way but super happy with the recovery.

"I got a bit excited with the last lap in Q3 but the first lap was good enough and I'm really happy with that."
He added: "Hopefully a magic one happens tomorrow. It would be nice to not lose any positions but we will do our best.
"This weekend has been more difficult for us but we are keeping it together and maximising the performance, so I'm happy with that."
Verstappen will start second on the grid in Sunday's race, and the Red Bull driver - who has previously hinted at a potential retirement from F1 -
"For me, it's been two things," Verstappen told Sky Sports. "For sure, the car has not been great in the previous races, but also from my side I never felt comfortable with the layout of the car, and over the last few weeks the team has been pushing flat out to try to bring upgrades to the car and making me feel more comfortable with a lot of things in the car.
"And it really pays off, I feel more in control of the car again, and then I can push a bit more.
"Then the upgrades are working. To be on the front row is way better than I expected heading into this weekend."
