New Delhi: The weather patterns are changing rapidly across the country. The south-west monsoon has reached its full speed, due to which a period of heavy rains has started in South and North-East India. On the other hand, due to the activation of a new western disturbance amidst the scorching heat in the states of North India, there is a possibility of a major change in the weather.
How is the weather going to be in the next few days
According to the Meteorological Department, on June 8, monsoon has arrived in many new parts of the Arabian Sea and some other areas of Maharashtra, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Let us know how the weather is going to be in the next few days in different parts of the country.
Thunderstorm and hail warning
According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, due to an active western disturbance, the weather will change in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan on June 11 and 12. During this period, there is a strong possibility of dust storm and hailstorm at the speed of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour in these states.
Orange alert issued
Yellow and orange alert of dust storm has been issued especially in western Rajasthan on June 11-12. After this, due to light to moderate rain in these areas between June 11 and 14, the temperature will drop and people will get relief from the heat. At the same time, strong winds will continue in Haryana, Chandigarh, Delhi and Punjab on June 13 and 14.
Rain alert in UP and MP
The weather patterns are also going to change in the states of Central and Eastern India. There are chances of rain in Uttar Pradesh between June 10 and 14, while a special warning has been given in Eastern UP of strong storm and heavy rain on June 12. Heavy showers with thunderstorms are expected in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh between June 9 and 14.
Rain alert in Bihar and Odisha
Apart from this, heavy rain has been predicted in Bihar on June 10 to 12 and in Odisha on June 11-12. An alert has also been issued in the Ganga coastal areas of Jharkhand, Bihar and West Bengal regarding storm between June 10 and 12.
Condition of hill states and south-northeast India
There is a possibility of rain and thundershowers in hilly states like Jammu and Kashmir, Uttarakhand and Himachal Pradesh on June 11 and 12, due to which people going here for tourism have been advised to exercise caution. On the other hand, due to monsoon, heavy rains are continuing in Kerala and Karnataka of South India.

Coastal and interior Karnataka may receive heavy to very heavy rains till June 11. Winds will blow at a speed of 40-50 km per hour in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and Tamil Nadu till June 12. Continuous torrential rains are expected in Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura and West Bengal for the next 7 days i.e. till June 14.
