IRCTC Panch Mahatirth Darshan Yatra 2026: If you want to visit five major pilgrimage sites in the country in a single trip, IRCTC has brought you a special religious tour. Organized by the Bharat Gaurav Special Tourist Train, this Panch Mahatirth Darshan Yatra will take travelers to Jagannath Puri, Kamakhya, Gaya, Kashi, and Ayodhya. The journey will begin on August 29, 2026, and will continue until September 10, 2026, lasting a total of 12 nights and 13 days.
Where will the train depart from?
This special train will depart from Rajkot and passengers will be able to board it from several stations along the way, including Surendranagar, Viramgam, Sabarmati Junction, Nadiad, Anand, Chhayapuri, Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam, Ujjain, and Sant Hirdaram Nagar. Arrangements have been made to provide pilgrims with a tour of major religious and historical sites during the journey. The first major stop will be Puri in Odisha, where pilgrims will visit the Lord Jagannath Temple. They will also have the opportunity to visit Puri beach and local markets. The next day, they will be treated to the world-famous Konark Sun Temple and the Lingaraja Temple in Bhubaneswar.
Darshan will be held here in Assam and Bihar
After Odisha, the train will arrive in Guwahati, Assam, where pilgrims will visit the Shaktipeeth Maa Kamakhya Temple. The itinerary includes sufficient time for special darshan at the Kamakhya Temple, allowing pilgrims to participate in religious rituals. After Guwahati, the train will travel to Gaya and Bodhgaya in Bihar. Visitors will visit the Mahabodhi Temple, the Giant Buddha Statue, the Vishnupad Temple, and the Maa Sarvamangala Gauri Shaktipeeth. These sites are considered to have special religious significance, associated with Buddhism and Hinduism.
You will be able to visit these places in Uttar Pradesh.
After this, devotees will reach Varanasi, where they will have the opportunity to visit the Baba Kashi Vishwanath Temple and the Mother Annapurna Temple. The spiritual experience of the Ganges Ghats will also be an important part of this journey. After Varanasi, the yatra will proceed to Ayodhya, where they will be offered darshan of the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple and Hanumangarhi.
How much will it cost and facilities?
Bookings are available for the trip in Sleeper, 3AC, and 2AC classes. Sleeper fares are set at ₹24,200, 3AC fares at ₹40,100, and 2AC fares at ₹49,500 per person. The package includes train travel, hotel accommodation, pure vegetarian breakfast, lunch, and dinner, daily bottled water, local transportation, tour escorts, security personnel, and travel insurance. However, monument entrance fees, special darshan tickets, personal expenses, guide fees, and other personal services are not included in the package.
