Finally a big and relief news has come for the people of Uttar Pradesh. The people of UP, who have been facing the heat of the sun and deadly heatwave for the last several days, are now going to get relief from this scorching heat. The Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert of strong thunderstorm and heavy rain in many districts of the state. It is a matter of relief that this period of rain will start from today and continue till 1st July. Meteorologists say that after this, there will be a huge drop in temperature and people will get great relief from the humid heat.


Actually, at this time there was a situation like Nautapa in Uttar Pradesh and it was difficult for people to leave their homes in the afternoon. But now the movement of clouds and cold winds have knocked. It is being told that monsoon is now not far from Uttar Pradesh and it may enter the state very soon. Before the arrival of monsoon, this pre-monsoon rain will make people feel pleasant weather.


Weather patterns will change in Western UP from today


According to the information received from the Meteorological Department, this series of rains will gain momentum from the districts of Western Uttar Pradesh. From today itself, there is a possibility of showers along with dust storm in areas like Meerut, Ghaziabad, Gautam Buddha Nagar (Noida), Bulandshahr, Baghpat, Hapur, Saharanpur, Muzaffarnagar and Shamli.


Apart from this, there will be dark clouds in the sky in Moradabad, Rampur, Bijnor, Amroha, Sambhal, Agra, Mathura, Firozabad, Mainpuri, Aligarh, Hathras, Kasganj, Etah, Bareilly, Badaun, Pilibhit and Shahjahanpur and it will rain intermittently. A drop of 3 to 4 degrees in temperature can be seen in these districts of Western UP.


Clouds will rain heavily in these districts of Purvanchal also


This U-turn of weather is not limited only to Western UP, but the weather is going to be pleasant in the districts of Eastern UP i.e. Purvanchal also. The department has issued a rain alert till July 1 in Gorakhpur, Deoria, Kushinagar, Maharajganj, Azamgarh, Mau, Ballia, Varanasi, Jaunpur, Ghazipur, Chandauli, Basti, Sant Kabir Nagar and Siddharthnagar.


Along with this, there is full expectation of rain with strong winds in the areas of Mirzapur, Bhadohi (Sant Ravidas Nagar), Sonbhadra, Ayodhya, Ambedkar Nagar, Sultanpur, Amethi, Barabanki, Prayagraj, Kaushambi, Pratapgarh and Fatehpur. According to the local people, due to the appearance of clouds in the sky, the effect of sunlight has reduced, due to which people have heaved a sigh of relief.


Know what is ‘Blue Alert’ of rain?


The most important thing in this entire weather update is that the Meteorological Department has issued a blue alert of rain for Eastern UP between June 30 and July 1. Generally people know about Red or Yellow Alert, but do you know what Blue Alert means? Actually, in the language of meteorology, Blue Alert means that there may be light or moderate rain with strong storm and thunder in the area. This means that the weather will be bad, but it will not prove to be dangerous but will prove to be a relief.


Overall, the countdown for the monsoon and rains that the people of UP were eagerly waiting for is now over. The weather patterns will remain changeable in the entire state in the coming four to five days and farmers are also hopeful that this will bring a lot of benefit to their crops.
