Canada’s S&P/TSX Composite nudged down 0.2% to settle at 34,856.99 on July 1, slipping from a previous close of 34,927.40.


The index swung between a session high of 34,919.60 and a low of 34,727.05 during the day’s trading.


Despite the modest pullback, the index remains up 0.35% over the past five sessions.
