Weather Forecast: Will Clouds Delay the Moon Sighting in Delhi-NCR?

Weather patterns influenced by outer cloud bands from Cyclone Arnab indicate the possibility of light cloud cover and slight haze across parts of Delhi-NCR on Thursday evening.

Impact on Sighting: While the astronomical moonrise is set for around 8:17 PM, actual visual sighting may be slightly delayed depending on local cloud density.

Alternative Sighting Practices: If heavy clouds obstruct direct visibility, women traditionally offer Arghya in the direction of the Moon according to the city’s fixed moonrise time or follow established family rituals.
