Haryana News In Hindi: There was a stir when the dead body of a child was found in a pond in Sonipat, Haryana on Sunday morning. An 8 year old child was missing in Kharkhoda for three days. It is suspected that the child was murdered and the body was thrown into the pond. The child's body was found in a completely naked state in the pond. Police and forensic team are investigating the matter. At present the body has been sent to the hospital for post-mortem.

According to the information, Sonu's son Karthik (8), living in the Brahmin locality of Kharkhoda, had gone to play outside the house on Friday. There has been no trace of him since then. Karthik studied in fourth class but he did not go to school on Friday. The family members searched around for him but could not find him. At around 11 o'clock he was seen leaving in a CCTV. The police was informed about the child's disappearance. ACP Jeet Beniwal also reached his house.

People who were out for a walk on Sunday morning saw the naked body of a child lying in a puddle near the bus stand. This information was given to the police. Meanwhile, the family members of missing Karthik also reached the spot. The body turned out to be that of 8 year old Karthik. The police inspected the spot and then called the forensic team. There is suspicion of murder of the child. His clothes were not found lying anywhere nearby.

According to Police ACP Jeet Singh Beniwal, the body is that of missing Karthik. The real cause of the child's death will be revealed in the post-mortem report. The police is investigating keeping every aspect in mind.
