Walmart-owned Flipkart has released the beta version of its new payment app 'Super.Money'. According to a report by TechCrunch, this new app will allow users to make mobile payments via UPI and its beta version is available on Google Play Store.
Features of Super.Money
Real Cashback: The Super.money app will offer users real cashback, unlike other UPI apps. The company claims that the app will never offer worthless coupons, scratch cards or coins. Using the app will give up to 5 percent cashback on food, travel and other merchant payments.
Beta Program: According to a spokesperson from the Super.Money team, customer feedback will be assessed and the product will be improved in the coming weeks. The initial launch under the beta program is limited to 100,000 users.
History of Walmart and Flipkart
Flipkart acquired PhonePe in 2016, but the two companies separated in December 2022. However, Walmart still remains the parent company of both Flipkart and PhonePe.
App Features
The description of the Super.money app on the Play Store states that it will not give any useless rewards but will give absolutely real cashback. Its aim is to provide a simple and effective payment experience to the users.
