For his latest role in Kill, Abhishek Chauhan is getting a ton of love and praise. In the action-packed movie, the actor, who is well-known for his roles in Asur, Bahut Hua Samman, and Andekhi, portrayed an NSG commando.



He is grateful to his director, Nikhil for believing in him and the whole crew for their amazing work. Kill, dubbed “the most violent film” by its creators, has frantic action scenes. Abhishek provided insights on the difficult facets of his work. In addition, he spoke about his interactions with co-stars Raghav Juyal and Lakshya, sharing tidbits about his experiences.


Abhishek spoke about how, despite the hectic shooting schedule, he, Lakshya, and Raghav were able to maintain a laid-back vibe on the sets in an exclusive interview with India.com. “On sets, it was always so chill,” he said. Lakshmi We worked together on this project, doing training sessions and seminars for two to three hours each. And so we did—three months of rigorous physical training followed by a week-long acting session. As a result, before beginning work on the sets, we got to know one another very well. He also used to assist me with my initial attempt at going to the gym.


“This is my second collaboration with Raghav,” Abhishek said, sharing a behind-the-scenes glimpse of their time together. I already completed a film with him. Thus, Raghav and I went for a walk together before to the movie. Thus, it was a ton of fun. I recall a point in the movie when Raghav was supposed to stab me, but he was unable to do it because of our special link. It was a really touching moment. There was a time when we went beyond the movie. In addition, he said, “Raghava stays the same off-screen whether you’ve seen him dancing or at public events. One positive aspect of him is his approachability and humility.


The Inside Story of Abhishek Chauhan’s “Kill” Audition

“When I got a call from the casting director and I got to know that it was a Dharma Production and Sikhya Entertainment film, I knew that when these two big production houses are coming together, it has to be good,” Abhishek stated, on how he got this movie Kill. They just wanted to see how Lakshya and I would perform and what kind of chemistry we could have when they called for the audition. Thus, we recorded a scene that appears in the movie as well. Therefore, yes, I am very appreciative that they thought I could play this role. He also spoke about the sentimental appeal of working with Karan Johar. The Dharma movie Kuch Kuch Hota Hai is the first movie I ever saw in a theater. His films have special recollections of my early years. So it seemed like a complete circle of life when I was given the chance to work with Dharma. When I got that call, I was thrilled to be at home.


The Physical Prep Work Done by Abhishek Chauhan for Kill

Abhishek also said that because of the difficult action scenes, the hardest aspect of playing his role was just being physically there. He said, “On top of my regular workouts, we were training for action for at least six hours every day.” To make punching and kicking seem natural, it’s important to learn body language and choreography. Your body will get used to these motions with continued practice. The process has been both pleasant and challenging while using this strategy.


Nikhil Nagesh Bhatt is the director of Kill, while Karan Johar and Guneet Monga are in charge of production. Securing one of the 10 highly sought-after screening spaces at the Toronto International Film Festival, it made its debut in the Midnight Madness section in 2023.
