CBI has arrested two more people in the Kolkata rape-murder case. CBI has arrested former principal of RG Kar Medical College Sandeep Ghosh and SHO of a police station in the rape and murder case. Sandeep Ghosh was already arrested by ED in the corruption case in RG Kar. Now CBI has arrested him in the rape case. In this way, a total of three people have been arrested in this case. Accused Sanjay Roy was arrested by Kolkata Police on the second day of the incident.

Let us tell you that on August 9, the body of RG Kar's lady doctor was found in the seminar hall of the hospital. Later, the post-mortem report revealed that the doctor was raped and murdered.

During the investigation, Kolkata Police arrested civic volunteer Sanjay Roy on the basis of broken headphone and CCTV footage. But later, after the order of Calcutta High Court, CBI started the investigation.

CBI had questioned Sandip Ghosh for a long time

CBI has interrogated more than 100 people in this case so far and Sandeep Ghosh was also interrogated for 15 consecutive days. Sandeep Ghosh was also subjected to a polygraph test. Now CBI has arrested him.

Sandeep Ghosh has been accused of hiding facts in the case of the lady doctor's death. The mother and father of the deceased have been continuously alleging that the facts have been tampered with. Initially, the hospital management told them over the phone that the lady doctor had committed suicide. Later it was proved to be a case of rape and murder.

Sandip Ghosh accused of tampering with evidence

Along with this, Sandeep Ghosh was also accused of tampering with evidence. The bathroom near the seminar hall of the hospital where the body of the lady doctor was found was broken in the name of renovation on the second day of the incident. Sandeep Ghosh was accused of deliberately breaking the bathroom.

The CBI had also said during the hearing in the Supreme Court that the crime scene has been completely changed. In such a situation, it is very difficult to investigate the case.

Sandeep Ghosh has also been accused of colluding with Sanjay Roy, the accused arrested in this case. Sandeep Ghosh has been accused of promoting and supporting corruption in RG Tax. ED is investigating this case and ED had also raided his house.
