Even our call sheet has helpline numbers, on which you can call and complain. Even if you want to complain anonymously, I don't think this problem is only in the film industry. It is important that we solve it as soon as possible."

Ananya said, "At least stand for something. It is very important. Don't talk about everything, but choose something that you feel strongly about." She added, "Like women's safety is very important to me. I always speak about it and it is also important to do it in the right way. It is not just about speaking. You have to do something. Actions speak louder than words."

What is the Hema Committee report?

A committee was formed in 2017 under the chairmanship of Justice Hema in Kerala to look into the working conditions of women in the Malayalam film industry. Its report had reached the government about five years ago. Even after the report was released, no action was taken on it for a long time. However, after the report was made public on 19 August this year, there was an uproar. After this, many actresses came forward and also filed cases.
