  • Green leafy onion chopped – 2 tbsp

  • Carrot chopped – 1

  • Beans chopped – 5-6

  • Capsicum chopped – 1/2

  • Chopped cabbage – 2-3 tbsp

  • Garlic cloves chopped – 3

  • Peas – 2 tbsp

  • Sweet corn – 2 tbsp

  • Mixed herbs – 1/2 tsp

  • Chili flakes – 1/2 tsp

  • Black pepper powder – 1/2 tsp

  • Ginger chopped – 1 inch piece

  • Vinegar – 1 tablespoon

  • Corn flour – 1 tsp

  • Oil – 3 tsp

  • Salt – as per taste

  • To make soup, first put bottle gourd and gram dal vegetable in a mixer and make a paste.

  • Now pour this paste in a pan and add water as required. Then let it come to a boil.

  • When it boils, add salt as per taste, black pepper, cumin powder, salt and butter. Let the soup cook for some time on medium flame. Just the soup is ready. Serve it in dinner.

  • Just top with fresh cream and chili flakes before serving.

  • If you have leftover khichdi in your fridge, you can prepare soup from it too. To make soup, prepare the remaining khichdi by making a smooth paste in a mixer.

  • Now add water to it and boil it. After boiling, add salt and black pepper and cook. Serve hot in a serving bowl.
