In the world of cooking, Chef Amaury Guichon is not a new name. The pastry designs and chocolate creations created by the French-Swiss chocolatier and pastry chef are well-known. After receiving numerous culinary awards, the chef's intricate chocolate banana sculpture has now been inducted into the Guinness Book of Records. At this Las Vegas pastry academy, he created a unique creation: a 66-inch-tall and 29.57-inch-wide banana made completely of chocolate.
The Guinness Book of World Records took to Instagram to share a post of Chef Amaury Guichon sculpting his chocolate banana piece step by step. Speaking to the Guinness Book of World Records, Chef Guichon, explaining his masterpiece, shared the various difficulties and complexities he faced while making the liquid and solid forms of chocolate at the same temperature. He also added that it was an exciting opportunity for him as it helped him push the boundaries of his pastry art.
