The girl was from Canada. The young man wanted to impress her by giving her expensive gifts. But this weighed heavily on him. The young man did not have enough money to give a gift to his girlfriend. He then planned to rob the bank like in the movie Dhoom-3.

For this he paid PNB Bank. He even reached there to rob the bank. He tried his best to break the lock of the bank but failed. On the other hand, when the bankers came to know that someone had tried to rob the bank, they informed the police. When the police checked the CCTV cameras, they saw the young man's actions. Within just three hours the police arrested the young man.

The name of the young man is Shahid Khan alias Abdul Samad. Shahid then told the police that he had planned to rob the bank to impress his girlfriend. The police arrested the accused and presented him in the court. From here he has been sent to jail. The matter is of Indira Market. Police said- Shahid broke the lock of Punjab National Bank on Sunday night. Although the youth was not successful in breaking the lockers of the bank, on Monday morning there was panic after seeing the lock and channel of the main gate of the bank broken.

arrest within three hours

Even the police officers were surprised on the information of theft. Investigation of the case was started, on the basis of CCTV footage found from nearby, the police conducted a swift raid and arrested the accused within three hours. Police said- The accused had also cut the wire of the CCTV installed near the bank. The cameras were also tampered with.

70 CCTV cameras searched

ASP said- Police teams extracted footage from 70 CCTV cameras installed in and around the bank. The team watched all the CCTV footage closely. In this, on the night of 31 October, a young man was seen going towards the bank. When the young man's face was cleaned through a technical app, his entire face became clearly visible. When the team matched the photo of this young man on Trinetra app, he was identified as Shahid Khan alias Abdul Samad, resident of Mohalla Begumganj police station Kotwali Nagar.

Three cases already registered

Three cases of theft are already registered on this in the city police station. He has been to jail before also. As soon as the accused was identified, the police arrested him. Accused Shahid Khan told that he has three girlfriends. One of them was found through Instagram who lives in Canada. To impress him, more money was needed to give expensive gifts. On October 30, he did Reiki while sitting at the shop outside the bank. Due to excess money in the bank, he tried to break the locks of the bank on the night of 31 October. When the lock could not be broken, a grinder was used but was unsuccessful.
